A local car lot owner was killed last Monday night in a tragic accident near the 26-mile mark on I-75 near Corbin.
Larry W. Rogers, 65, of Faber, died as a result of injuries from a crash that happened at about 10:44 p.m.

The Corbin boys varsity basketball team defeated North Laurel 65-42 in the finals of the 13th Region Tournament at The Arena in Corbin Monday night. The team will play their opening round game in the KHSAA Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena in Lexington next Wednesday against Region 11 winner Scott County or Lafayette.
