Williamsburg scored 34 first quarter points and rolled past the Jenkins Cavaliers, 60-6 in the first-round of the Class A playoffs while Lynn Camp fell to Harlan 53-18. Whitley County broke open a close game and went on to beat North Laurel 41-20. The game was tied at 14-14 when the Colonels turned up the heat.
Corbin committed seven turnovers and shot themselves in the foot all night long in a 36-16 loss to LaRue County. The Redhounds controlled the first three quarters from the 20 to the 20, but couldn't punch a touchdown across the goalline. The Redhounds led 10-9 at the half, but saw the Hawks turn mistakes into a 27-6 advantage in the second half.
Williamsburg will host the Harlan Green Dragons next week while Whitley County travels to Madison Southern.
