Nashville’s Farm Hands Quartet to perform

One of the most exciting bluegrass gospel groups in America, featuring two long time veterans of the Grand Ole Opry, is coming to Gray.
The Farm Hands Quartet, from Nashville, will be in concert Sunday evening, Jan. 29, 6:30 p.m. at the Keck Baptist Church, 334 Keck Church Road in Gray, Ky.
The exciting Farm Hands Quartet consists of four gifted musicians and vocalists and features long-time Grand Ole Opry performers, Daryl Mosley and Tim Graves.
Bass player and singer Mosley is a multiple-award winning singer/songwriter. For more than a decade, he led the celebrated bluegrass gospel group New Tradition. He has written several No. 1 songs, including the southern gospel song of the year, “(Ask the Blind Man) He Saw It All.” Daryl just completed his tenth year performing on the Grand Ole Opry.
Playing the Dobro is Grammy award-winner Tim Graves. During his more than 30 years of performing professionally, Graves has spent 20 of them on the Opry. He has toured extensively throughout the U.S. with his own group, and is the reigning Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America Dobro player of the year, a distinction he has held for five straight years.
Rounding out the dynamic quartet are two of the finest young musicians in bluegrass music: guitarist/tenor singer Jody Elmore and banjoist and harmony vocalist Devon Avery.
The concert features both new songs and gospel classics. There is no admission charge, but a love offering will be accepted. For more information, contact the church or consult The Farm Hands Quartet’s website at www.farmhandsquartet.com
