Harold Edward Rickett, 88, of London, Kentucky entered eternal life June 25, 2022 at Saint Joseph London Hospital.
He worked at General Motors in Detroit and proudly served in the United States Army.
He was a deacon and Sunday School teacher for over 45 years. He was caretaker of the Rock Springs Cemetery in Gatliff, Kentucky for over 50 years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Warren-Rickett; parents, Porta and Irene Bundy-Rickett; brothers, H.C. Porta Jr. and Delbert Rickett; and sisters, Helen Darlene McKiddy and Ruth Ann Johnson.
Those behind who will cherish his memory are his daughters, Debbie (Larry) Jackson and Sandra (Gilbert) Russell; grandchildren, Eric (Lisa) Merriss, Samantha Merriss, Karla (Scottie) Weaver, Travis Hamblin, Becky (Jesse) Caudill, Becky (John) Aisenbrey, and Kimberly Russell; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Aubrey, Addaline, Oliver, Jillian, Brianna, Zoey, Liam, Zachary, and Madeline; along with many friends and relatives.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, June 30, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will be in Highland Cemetery.
Visitation will be 10:00 AM until the funeral hour on Thursday, June 30, at the funeral home.
The American Legion Post 88 Corbin, KY will conduct military graveside honors.
