James Lambdin, age 85, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at the VA Medical Center in Lexington, KY.
He was born November 8, 1937 in Whitley County, KY, to the late Charlie and Hattie Jordan Lambdin.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by six brothers, L. X. (Bear), Lewis, Joe, Robert, Ancil, and Sidney Lambdin; two sisters, Sydney Lambdin, and Lois Ann Lambdin. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Jewel Lambdin of Williamsburg, KY; his son, Jim Lambdin (Teresa) of Williamsburg, KY; three grandchildren, Natasha Lambdin of Williamsburg, KY, Nicholas Lambdin (Sarah) of Williamsburg, KY, and Taylor Lambdin of Williamsburg, KY; two great-grandchildren, Tate Lambdin, and Ellis Lambdin; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, January 21, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Bowman officiating.
Interment was in the Oaklawn Cemetery at Pleasant View.
Jellico Honor Guard conducted the Military Graveside Honors.
