Wanda Jean Powers, 80, of Williamsburg, Kentucky, was born March 18, 1944 in Jellico, Tennessee, and passed away on November 18, 2024.
Wanda was a dedicated housewife and took pride in creating a warm and inviting home for her loved ones. She was also a passionate gardener, adoring the time she spent tending to her tomatoes, sunflowers, and other plants in her garden.
Wanda is survived by her children, Willard Allen Powers (Cassandra), David Lee Powers (Jo Ann Davis), and Leslie Cox (Kenny); her sisters, Elise Elliott and Ida Mae Paul; her grandchildren: Gabbie Powers, Tiffany Powers, Matthew Powers, Tabitha Powers, Jessica Vila, Samantha Ballard, Rachel Whitehead, and Joshua Davis; and her great-grandchildren: Nathan Savage, Mason Savage, Axie Savage, Lian Mouser, Mia Mouser, Bethany Roberts, Brooklyn Roberts, Damien Davis, Bailey Staggs, Lexi Hill, Dre Whitehead, and Allie Whitehead. She is also survived by her great-great-grandchild, Rylin Kidd. Several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, William Lewallen and Lelia (Crabtree) Lewallen, and her daughter, Teresa Powers.
A visitation for Wanda was held at Croley Funeral Home in Williamsburg, Friday, November 22.
Followed by the funeral service at 1:00pm at the same venue with Rev. Harold Long officiating.
Wanda was laid to rest at Whitley Memorial Gardens, in Williamsburg.
