Trick or Treating hours, Christmas open house, parade dates

Little ghosts and goblins will have two chances to trick or treat in Corbin on Halloween. Downtown trick or treating on Main Street will take place from 3:30 – 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31, while residential trick or treating will take place from 6 – 8 p.m. Corbin Downtown Manager Jacob Roan thanked the Corbin JROTC for helping get fall decorations out in time for the recent Octoberfest celebration, and he thanked Shae Hensley and Jason Matthews for taking care of fine details and making sure that the decorations were just right. “I have heard good things. Forcht Bank Community Impact Scholarship Awarded to 4 Local Students

Lexington, Ky. (June 20, 2025) -- Forcht Bank has awarded four graduating high school seniors a scholarship of $5,000 as part of our Community Impact Scholarship for the 2024-2025 school year. Since the scholarship program began in 2021, Forcht Bank has offered 3 scholarships per school year. This year, in honor of Forcht Bank's 40-year anniversary, a fourth $5,000 scholarship was awarded. Ella Sewell, Ashley Nevison, Chase Turner, and Chloe Lefevers will each receive $5,000 to help further their education.
