W’burg leaders think they have found cause of 37 percent water loss rate

After years of dealing with water loss rates between 30-45 percent, the city of Williamsburg thinks it has finally narrowed down its problem and hopes to soon have it fixed.

Williamsburg Mayor Roddy Harrison said the city looked for several causes, ranging from leaks in lines to possibly old lines that had busted or even a busted waterline where it crosses under the river.
