General Lee Jr., 82, of the Harps Creek Community, Siler, departed this life on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at his home.

He was born on May 8, 1934 in Siler, to the late General Lee Sr. and Sarah Beatrice Moore Lee.

He was preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Parker and Brenda Lee and a brother, William (Bill) Lee.

He was an honorary member of the Tabernacle of Praise in Leesville, OH.

He is survived his wife, Wilma Irene Lee of Siler; daughter, Dianne Kouns (Orville) of Galion, OH; three grandchildren, Jon Parker, Clayton Campo and Candiace Iles; four great-grandchildren, JaeLynne Douglas, JozeLynne Douglas, Christopher Douglas and JueLynne Witten; four sisters, Raymadene Johnson of Galion, OH, Lois Standley of Siler, Wanda Watson of Corbin and Glenda Lawson of Siler; two brothers, Leonard Lee (Louise) of Galion, OH and Henry Lee (Doris) of Williamsburg; son-in-law, George (Terry) Parker of Williamsburg; special niece and nephew, James and Sherry Privett; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Waylon Hunter officiating.

He will be laid to rest in the Lee Family Cemetery on Harps Creek.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
