Rosa Nadine Willis, 86, of Williamsburg, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 at her home.

She was born February 25, 1932 in Whitley County, the daughter of the late Wayne and Samantha Petrey Rains.

She was a member of the Cumberland River Church of God.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Pastor Lee Willis, granddaughter: Sondra Petrey, great grandson; Anthony Faulkner, four sisters; Thelma Rains, Sally Rains, Gladys Rains and Lucy Wells, a brother; Benny Rains and one daughter-in-law; Joyce Willis.

She is survived by the following members of her family: children: Wilma Petrey and husband Pete of Williamsburg; Anna Mae Partin and husband Grant of Pineville; Larry Willis and wife Brenda of Williamsburg; Leslie Willis of Williamsburg; Audrey Faulkner and husband Sim of Williamsburg; Doyle Willis and wife Charlotte of Barbourville; Elizabeth Smiddy and husband Wayne of Williamsburg and Darrell Willis and wife Carolyn of Williamsburg; sister, Carrie Lawson of Williamsburg; brother, Henry Rains and wife Pauline of Knoxville, TN; special caregivers: Eric Willis, Betty and Bruce Ashton, and Stephanie Manus; 17 grandchildren, 41 great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren and host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, May 15, at the Cumberland River Church of God with the Rev. David Jackson and Rev. Pat Ayers presiding.

Interment follow in the Lee Willis Cemetery at Maple Creek, Williamsburg.

Rosa’s grandchildren served as pallbearers.
