Margaret R. Duncan Gilreath, 75, of Newcomb, TN, passed away Monday, July 30, 2018 at the Beech Tree Manor Nursing Home in Jellico, TN.

She was born on June 3, 1943 to the late Lewis Duncan and Mildred (Norman) Duncan.

She was the granddaughter of the late Frank Norman and Eliza (Johnson) Norman.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Andy Bill Gilreath; brothers, H. D. Duncan, Conley (Duck) Duncan, Jim Duncan; sisters, Venna (Duncan) Gast, and Violet (Duncan) Blankenship Harper.

She is survived by her son, William (Todd) Gilreath, and wife, Nicky, of Knoxville, TN; daughter, Connie (Gilreath) Creekmore, and husband, David, of Newcomb, TN; grandchildren, Jarrod Wilson, and wife, Catina, and Nicholas Creekmore, and wife Vanessa, Megan Long, and husband, Andrew, Heather Brown, and husband, Jacob; great-grandchildren, Parker Long, Makenna Creekmore, Peyton Wilson, Paige Wilson, Paisley Cox, Lindsey Cox; brothers, Billy Ray Duncan and Ralph (Tad) Duncan, and wife, Shirley; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends, neighbors and other relatives to mourn her passing.

The family received friends on Thursday evening, August 2, at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral followed on Thursday evening at the Cox & Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Wilson officiating.

Musical selections were provided by Betty Hurst and David Creekmore.

Burial followed on Friday morning, August 3, at the Duncan Family Cemetery on the Gatliff Road in the Big Cane Creek Community in Whitley County.

Randall Bowlin, David Creekmore, Nicholas Creekmore, Aaron Gilreath, Dominic Rapton, and Jarrod Wilson served as pallbearers.

Cox & Son Funeral Home of Jellico was in charge of all arrangements.
