Public’s help sought to locate Pizza Hut thief

Date:

Williamsburg Police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating this man, who is believed responsible for the theft of a cash register and its contents from the Williamsburg Pizza Hut restaurant in Williamsburg Monday morning.

The theft was reported about 10:43 a.m. and the suspect apparently fled the scene in a red Chevy Silverado pick-up truck that went northbound on I-75 after it left Exit 11.

Williamsburg Police believe the theft is connected to a second cash register theft from a Corbin restaurant off Exit 25 that occurred about an hour later.

Anyone with information about the theft is asked to contact the Williamsburg Police Department at (606) 549-6038 or (606) 549-6017.
