Georgia “Cookie” Bledsoe, age 69 of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born November 23, 1952 in Warren Township, MI to the late Willis and Katherine Marie Shupe Rowland, Jr. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Rowland.
She is survived by her husband, Norman Bledsoe of Williamsburg, KY; three children, Dona Bledsoe of Williamsburg, KY, Greg Bledsoe (Katie) of Gadsden, AL, and Rob Bledsoe (Ericka) of Rocky Mount, NC; ten grandchildren, Kayla, Austin, Brooke, Eli, Alaina, Caleb, Garrett, Nathan, Levi, and Abigail; one great-grandchild, Claire; two sister, Nancy Newman of Williamsburg, KY, and Joanne Roberts (Donnie) of Williamsburg, KY; one brother; Jimmy Rowland of Burnside, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, February 5, at Refuge Baptist Church with Bro. Greg Bledsoe, Bro. Johnathon Heath, and Bro. Gary Lee Steely officiating. Interment was in the Bledsoe Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Daron Roberts, Austin Bledsoe, Eli Bledsoe, Caleb Bledsoe, Andrew Modica, Bill Carter, and Bill Elliotte.
