Harrison retiring after nearly four decades with EMS

It’s the last week on the job for one of Whitley County’s longest-serving and most stalwart employees.

Kelly Harrison, director of Whitley County EMS, is retiring after over 35 years in local emergency services—32 of which have been specifically in Whitley County. Effective October 1, Harrison will officially be retired and in her place will be an 18-year EMS veteran, Amanda Jackson.
