Sav-A-Lot’s annual “Bags for a Brighter Holiday” fundraiser event was a huge success in 2022. The Williamsburg location saw the most donations in its division, which includes over 50 stores.
For every bag of food that customers purchased, Sav-A-Lot matched one dollar. Since the Williamsburg store sold over 2,400 bags between November and December of last year, they were able to donate a total of $2,462 to Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.
