Public’s help sought to ID truck involved in Edgewood Mobile Home theft

Police are seeking tips or leads from the public regarding the theft of two heating and air units, two winches and a copper line set that was stolen from Edgewood Mobile Homes in Williamsburg on Christmas Eve.

According to Whitley County Sheriff Colan Harrell, the theft was discovered and reported to Deputy Sheriff John Hill on Jan. 2. The vehicle used by suspects in the theft was captured by surveillance cameras. The vehicle, a truck, was occupied by two unidentified men.

If anyone has information about the owner or occupants of the truck, please contact Whitley County Dispatch at (606) 549-6017. Or during business hours, you can call the Whitley County Sheriff’s Office at 606-549-6006 and ask for Deputy John Hill, who is leading this investigation.
