Bill “Dad” Wilson

Bill “Dad” Wilson, age 72, of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Friday August 22, 2025 at his home. He was born August 27, 1952 in Barbourville, Ky. to the late Robert and Mary Lucy Partin Wilson. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers; Alton Wilson, Harold Wilson, Johnny Wilson, Carlus Wilson, one sister; Bobbie McKiddy, three nephews; Dale Davis, Leon Wilson and Billy Wilson.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Wilson of Williamsburg, Ky; one son, James R. Wilson (Sharon Hubbard) of Williamsburg, Ky; two grandchildren, Jesse Wilson and Halie Wilson; four sisters, Helen Goodin, Wanda Peace, Naomi Davis and Shirley Storms all of Williamsburg, Ky; one brother, Ed Wilson of Siler, Ky; and a host of nieces and nephews to mourn his passing.
Graveside service was held on Monday August 25, at the Goins Cemetery Wilson Addition.
Interment followed in the Goins Cemetery Wilson Addition.
There was no visitation.
