Ancil Bruce Rose, age 82, of Williamsburg, Kentucky departed this life on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at Hillcrest Nursing Home in Corbin.
He was born on September 7, 1939 in Williamsburg, Kentucky to the late Bill Rose and the late Mabel (Taylor) Rose. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Gina Rose; sister, Carolyn Bowman; father-in-law, Stanley Taylor; and brother-in-law, Michael Taylor.
He is survived by his son, Bruce Allan Rose (Stephanie) of Manasses, Virginia; sister, Linda Rose of Williamsburg, Kentucky; brother, Larry Rose (Myrtle) of Arcanun, Ohio; sisters-in-laws, Reba Morse (Foster) of Lorton, Virginia and Phyllis Strunk (Wendall) of West Chester, Ohio; brothers-in-laws, Tom Bowman (Charlene) of Greenville, Ohio and Ardell Taylor (Donna) of Williamstown, Kentucky and Joan Taylor; nieces and nephews, Joy Printz (John) of Ansonia, Ohio, Richard Rose (Carolyn) of Versailles, Ohio, Tammy Bowman (Marlie) of Cincinnati, Ohio, Denise Garber of Burlington, Kentucky, and Brad Bowman (Ruth) of Hamilton, Ohio; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be 12:00 PM until the funeral hour on Sunday, June 19, at the Croley Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Sunday, June 19, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Bowman and Rev. Jerry Sester officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Cemetery.
