Carl William Lay

Carl William Lay, age 74 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Beech Tree Post-Acute and Rehabilitation Center. He was born July 27, 1948, in Newcomb, Tennessee.
Carl is preceded in death by father, William Morton Lay, and mother, Ethel (Rutherford) Lay.
He is survived by sons, Jason Walker and Dana James Lay, daughter, Amanda Baird and Joseph; grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Wyatt, Levi, Emilia and Camryn; brothers, Roy Lay and Robert Lay and Jane; sisters, Margie Douglas and Ella Mae Douglas; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Sunday, August 21, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. DJ Osborne and Jason Walker officiating.
