Charles “Chuck” Nichols, 63, of Corbin, passed away Saturday December 31, 2016 at Hospice of Lake Cumberland in Somerset.
He was born May 4, 1953 in Cincinnati, OH, to the late Charles Henry Nichols and the late Nancy Jane Baird Nichols, the fourth of eleven children.
Charles was a great family man and a loving uncle to his numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, grand nieces, and grand nephews.
He enjoyed UK games, auto races, WWE wrestling matches, and old Western movies. His family and friends will always remember him as a kind and loving person.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters Verna and Clara Nichols.
Charles is survived by his sisters, Vivian Graf of Dayton, OH, Lula Yarger of Hamilton, OH, Irene Robinson of Corbin, and Florence Neal of Corbin; brothers, Henry Nichols, of Williamsburg, Pleas Nichols, of Georgetown, OH, Ancil Nichols of Corbin, Jimmy Nichols of Corbin, several nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday January 4, at the Ellison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Nichols Jr. officiating.
Following the service he will be laid to rest in the Powers Cemetery.
