Cosmetology Elite Academy LLC Owner Jennifer Stephens and Manager April McIntosh cut the ribbon Monday afternoon celebrating the opening of their new cosmetology school, which is located in Cumberland Regional Mall.
They also received their membership plaque from the Southern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce.
During the opening celebration, Whitley County High School marketing students and DECA Club members toured the new facility along with four Williamsburg High School students, who are considering the cosmetology school as a career path.
Horizon Health was on hand to promote the services that they offer along with Volunteers of America representatives, who were on hand to talk with anyone needing help with financial aid for the new cosmetology school.
