Cross drain operations start Monday, April 25, on KY 779 in Whitley County

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that cross drain operations start Monday, April 25, on KY 779 at the junction of Millertown Road (milepoint 10.788) to the Cumberland River Bridge (11.852) in Whitley County.

The roadway will be closed to through traffic on Monday, April 25, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
