Danny Emery Brown, 66, husband of Joyce (Griffin) Brown of Corbin, passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at his residence.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Emery Estill Brown and Margaret (Miller) Brown.
Danny was a member of Community Christian Church in London; a Kentucky State Park Superintendent; and a Kentucky Colonel.
He was the father of Sarah Elizabeth Brown Wilson of Corbin, Leslie Ann Reagan of Livingston, TN, and Laura Griffin Frazier of Williamsburg; the brother of Robert Lewis Brown and Suzanne Brown both of Monticello; the grandfather of Tyler Wilson, Jordan Wilson, Baylee Wilson, Rex Reagan, Allie Reagan, and Reed Frazier.
The funeral services for Danny Emery Brown were conducted Friday, January 18, at the Community Christian Church in London, with Pastor Bart Jones officiating.
Serving as pallbearers were R.C. Frazier, Tim Reagan, Tyler Wilson, Joe Hopkins, Rex Reagan, Mike Hopkins. Honorary pallbearers were the elders and Deacons of Community Christian Church.
Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Tri-County Cancer Coalition P.O. Box 1331 Corbin, KY 40702.
London Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
