DEA, W’burg Police arrest Corbin man after intercepting package containing 50 Oxycodone pills

A package containing approximately 50 Oxycodone pills was intercepted from delivery to Michael D. Ramey, 36, of 127 Catalpa Way, Corbin by the London DEA.

 

Upon receiving this information, Williamsburg Police with the help of Kentucky State Police and the Whitley County Sheriff’s Department went to Ramey’s address Wednesday at around 6:00 p.m.

 

According to a release, officers made contact with Ramey who had stated he was expecting the package.

 

Ramey was arrested and charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance greater than 20 dosage units.

 

Ramey was lodged in the Whitley County Detention Center.
