Denver Campbell, Sr., 85, of West Hwy 92, Williamsburg, departed this life on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Hill Crest Health and Rehab in Corbin.

He was born on September 7, 1931 in Williamsburg, to the late William J. Campbell and Flora Combs Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Evelyn Campbell. He was a Mason for over 50 years and a member of Williamsburg Lodge 490 F & AM.

He is survived by his six children, Denver Campbell, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH, Daniel Wayne Campbell (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg, IN, Paul Jeffrey Campbell (Alice) of Williamsburg, Thomas Edward Campbell (Teresa) of Williamsburg, Steven Joe Campbell (Tammy) of Williamsburg, and Deanna M. Myers (Martin) of Williamsburg; 15 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Lena Mae of Florida; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

A Masonic service was conducted Monday, April 17, at Croley Funeral Home Chapel.

The funeral services were held Tuesday, April 18, at the Jellico Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Max Cox officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Jellico Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
