Doris M. Hamlin

Doris M. Hamlin, age 84, of Williamsburg, KY, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Baptist Health Corbin.
She was born October 4, 1937 in Whitley County, KY to the late Crawford and Georgia Meadors.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary Hamlin Strunk; two sisters, Ruby Lay, and Shirley Perkins; brothers-in-law, Delmer Lester and R L Perkins.
She is survived by her husband, Arnold Hamlin of Williamsburg, KY; two grandchildren, Adam Strunk (Hope) of Georgetown, KY, and Jacob Strunk of Lexington, KY; one great-grandchild, Leo Strunk; son-in-law, Ken Strunk of Lexington, KY; four sisters, Wilma Lester of Williamsburg, KY, Carol Meadors Rose of Williamsburg, KY, Nancy Strack (Robert) of Williamsburg, KY, and Wanda Schroeder (Lee) of Williamsburg, KY; two brothers, Robert Meadors (Doris) of Pine Knot, KY, and Larry Meadors (Mary) of Williamsburg, KY; several nieces, nephews, and a host of relatives and friends to mourn her passing.
Funeral service was Saturday, December 11, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Lester and Rev. Bob Bunch officiating. Interment will be in Jellico Creek Cemetery.
