Elzo Bargo

Elzo Bargo, age 81, of Corbin, Kentucky departed this life on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at the Baptist Health Hospital in Corbin. He was the husband of Suzanne (Howard) Bargo and the son of Chriss Bargo and Cordia (Gambrell) Bargo born to them on December 19, 1939.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Chriss and Cordia Bargo; two brothers, Bill Bargo and Lonzo Bargo; and six sisters, Effie Brandenburg, Sarah Broughton, Ella Carlisi, Goldie Lopp, Florence Suggs and Elsie Cloud.
Left behind to mourn his passing, his wife of forty-one years, Suzanne Bargo of Corbin; three sons, James Bargo and wife Teresa of Michigan, Ronnie Bargo of Corbin, and Duane Bargo of Michigan; three grandchildren, Jamie Bargo, James Bargo, Jr. and Elizabeth Bargo. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and good friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Bargo will be conducted in the Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, December 28, at 2:00 p.m.
He will be laid to rest in the Bargo Family Cemetery on Walker Park Rd.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 28 from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
