Ethel Bowman Lawson, 80, of Williamsburg, passed away Sunday, July 16, 2017 at a family residence in Indiana.
She was born September 11, 1936 in Williamsburg.
Ethel was preceded in death by a son Harold Lawson; father, Daniel Byrd Bowman; mother, Martha Jane Gordon Bowman; twelve siblings.
She is survived by her husband, James Arnold Lawson; daughters, Sheila Coley and husband Doug of Mooresville, IN; Patricia Walker and husband Jack of Henryville, IN; Deborah Dorris and husband Wayne of Indianapolis, IN; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held Friday, July 21, at the Boston Baptist Church with Pastor Marty Bramble and Brother Larry Lynn Siler officiating.
Burial followed in the Lot Cemetery
Harp Funeral Home of Jellico in charge of arrangements.
