George Davis Wilson, III, 53, of Kennesaw. GA, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017, at the DeKab Medical Center, McDonough, GA.
He was born July 2, 1963 at Covington. He was a U.S. Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, John H. and Eva (Selvia) Hampton and Calvert and Bertha (Devers) Wilson.
He is survived by mother, Betty Jane Williams of Woodstock, GA; father, George Davis Wilson, II of Holly Springs, GA; brother, Dwayne Wilson and wife, Jennifer, of Shelbyville; sister, Johnna Maran of Roswell, GA; nieces, Emily Joe, Frances, Charlotte and Eva Lee; nephews, Tyler, Cole, Miles and Luke.
The funeral services were held Sunday, March 5, at the Cox & Son Chapel with Rev. Mike Greene officiating.
Burial followed in the Douglas Cemetery.
Cox & Son Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
