It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Glenn Cureton, a man of strength, integrity, and boundless love.
Born on January 7, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, Glenn lived a vibrant life filled with purpose and meaning. He was a beacon of warmth and resilience who left an indelible mark on everyone he encountered.
Glenn was an unwavering pillar of his community and a respected figure in the construction industry, a testament to his exceptional work ethic and determination. His dedication to his craft was only surpassed by his commitment to his family and friends. As Henry Ford once said, “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success,” this quote truly encapsulates Glenn’s spirit and his lasting impact on his loved ones and colleagues. His laughter, wisdom, and heartwarming stories will be sorely missed, but his legacy will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Glenn is survived by his children, Chris (Ashley) Cureton, Amber Moore, Cody (Reba) Cureton, Jenna (David) Coldiron, Shanda Lee, Tosha Bennett, Dottie Wynn, Joseph Bauer, and Mark Perry. He also leaves behind his wife, Brenda Miracle, and his ex-wife, Carolyn Cureton, mother of Chris and Amber. His grandchildren, Christopher, Caleb, Rachel, Piper, Keaton, Payton, Haley, and Tyler, as well as a host of other grandchildren that will forever cherish their memories with him. Glenn’s light also shines on through his siblings, Helen (Charles) Caddell, Nioka Thomas, Sheena Stump, Jack Cureton, Tunney (Rose Marie) Standifer, Rodney (Tonia) Standifer, Tad (Bonnie) Standifer, and Tony Kandik.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Glennwood and Catherine Cureton; and his brother, Charles Cureton.
Visitation was Tuesday, September 10, at the Croley Funeral Home.
