Howard Jackson, age 84, of Highway 92 East, Williamsburg, Kentucky, departed this life on Saturday, November 23, 2019, at his home.  He was born on January 29, 1935, in Barbourville, Kentucky, to Isaac Jackson and Etta (Smith) Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac and Etta Jackson; sons, Marty Jackson and Estil Lawson; grandson, Ricky Howard Prewitt; and sisters, Roberta Bryant, Louise Jackson, Verna Gambrel and Sara Payne.

He was owner and operator of Jackson Enterprise, founder of the Jackson Mall in 1977, and founder of Tri-County Natural Gas and Oil.

He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Jean (Morris) Jackson of Williamsburg; daughters, Faye Jones and Sue Martin (Gary), both of Williamsburg; sons, Howard Jackson, Jr. (Terrie Ann) of Waynesfield, Ohio and Isaac Jackson of Williamsburg; grandchildren, Tracy Powers, Brooke McCullah, Phillip Martin, William Robert Jackson, Rebecca Faulder, Howard Martin Jackson, Mariah Jackson, Todd Martin Jackson, Lori Taylor, Jarrod Lawson and Christy Bolton; several great-grandchildren; brother, Isaac Jackson, Jr. of Williamsburg; sisters, Beulah Penn of Richmond, Thelma Johns of Nicholasville and Margaret Jones of Barbourville; several nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday, November 25, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Raymond Parks officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Jackson Family Cemetery.
