James W. Jackson

James W. Jackson, 53, of the South KY 233 in Gray, departed this life on July 13, 2018 at his home.

He was born on July 27, 1964 in Stearns, to Lemuel Jackson and Laura Jean (Campbell) Jackson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Laura Jean Jackson. He was a member of the Indian Creek Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Pamela (Brown) Jackson of Gray; special sons, Larry William Cox and Timothy Cox of Gray; father, Lemuel Jackson of Gray; sister, Lisa Siler (Rev. Jimmy) of Barbourville; special aunt, Mary Sue Campbell of Bardstown; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service was held Monday, July 16, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sam Davis of Spartanburg, SC officiating.

Following the service he was laid to rest in the Campbell Cemetery in Gray.

Honorary pallbearers were the employees of PAE and the First Baptist Student Ministry in Spartanburg, SC.
