Jerry Anderson Sr., age 68, of Parkers Lake, Ky., formerly of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Sunday May 18, 2025 at his home. He was born September 11, 1956 in Independence, Missouri to the late John Anderson and Frances Cox Hughes. Along with his father he was preceded in death by his step-father Thomas Hughes Sr.
Jerry attended Hope City Church in Whitley City, Ky., he graduated from Whitley County High School and was a member of Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490 F&AM.
He is survived by his wife, Katherine Anderson of Parkers Lake, Ky; three children, Jerry “Duner” Anderson of Spanish Fort, Alabama, Crystal Bradley (Jonathan) of Stearns, Ky., and Heather Inman (Brandon) of Corbin, Ky; ten grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jacob, Kimberly, Holly, Landon, Easton, Marissa, Carsen, Camden and Brailyn; his mother, Frances Hughes of Williamsburg, Ky; one brother, Tommy Hughes (Mary Ann) of Williamsburg, Ky; adopted daughter, Angie Vanover (Robert) of Whitley City, Ky; several nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Thursday, May 22, at Ellison Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Dixon and Rev. Craig Reed officiating.
Williamsburg Masonic Lodge #490 F&AM confered masonic rites prior to the funeral service.
Interment followed in the Pleasant View Cemetery Moses addition.
