Kathleen “Kathy” (Fox) Partin, age 60, of the Kentucky Hill Community of Whitley County, KY, passed away early Sunday morning, September 12, 2021 at the home of her sister, Irene Musick, in Jellico, Tennessee.
Kathy was born on December 12, 1960 to the late Newman Fox and Pearl (Holt) Fox in Jellico. Her paternal grandparents were the late Henry Fox and Molly (Fuson) Fox. Her maternal grandparents were the late Lee Holt and Millie (Delk) Holt.
Kathy was a member of the Newcomb Church of God.
In addition to her parents and grandparents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Troy Fox, Charlie Fox, and infant, Frankie; and one sister, Ramona Church.
She is survived by her husband, William “Bill” Partin, of Kentucky Hill; son, William Jordan Partin, and wife, Hannah, of Jellico; daughter, Misty Partin, of Kentucky Hill; granddaughter, Evelyn “Evie” Partin, of Jellico; four brothers, Shelby Fox, and wife, June, of Jellico, Henry Fox, of Jellico, Ronnie Fox, of Williamsburg, KY, and Rocky Fox, and wife Diane, of Marion, Ohio; five sisters, Shirley Oliver, and husband, Roger, of Charles Town, Indiana, Bonnie Musick, and husband, Carl, of Jellico, Irene Musick, and husband, Arnold, of Jellico, Barbara Grayson, of Jellico, and Freda Leach, and husband, Eddy, of Williamsburg, KY; several nephews and nieces; numerous great-nephews and great-nieces, and a host of friends, neighbors, and other relatives to mourn her passing.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Cox and Son Funeral Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Randy Bargo officiating. Special signing was provided by Mrs. Dottie Bargo and Mrs. Kathy Parrott.
Interment followed in the Snyder-Vermillion Cemetery located on KY Highway 1804 in Whitley County, KY.
Cox and Son Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
