Mr. and Mrs. Jeno Compton of Rockholds would like to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter Kristen Nicole Compton to Daniel Lee Smiddy of Pine Knot. Daniel is the son of Mike and Darlene Smiddy of Pine Knot. Kristen is the granddaughter of the late Thelma Ellison of Corbin.
Kristen is a 2005 graduate of Whitley County High School and a current student of The University of the Cumberlands. Daniel is a 2000 graduate of McCreary Central High School and a current employee of Rentway in Corbin.
The wedding will take place Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Whitley City Church of God in Whitley City at 1:00 p.m.
