Lisa Marie Bales went home to be with our Lord on February 28th, 2019.
Lisa was born to Barbara Sammons Peterson and Paul Lay on March 26th, 1968.
She is preceded in death by her parents Barbara Peterson (Donald) and Paul Lay and her sister Linda J. Henning (Bill).
She is survived by Robert C. Bales “Shug”, the love of her life and best friend, beloved son Joshua D. Lay, two sisters, Debbie J. Stephens (Ralph) and Pamela S. Kirby (Preston) who loved her with all their hearts and souls, nieces and nephews Zoe Kirby, Seth Lawson, Brooke Stephens, Nic Stephens, Donyia Sameck (Jacob), great nephew J.J. Sameck, step-children Matthew (Katie) and Bryan (Margaret) Bales, grandchildren Keaton “Chubbs” Bales, Wade and Laurel Bales, Christian Bales, Cory Bales, Samantha Bales, and her special friend Ann Morgan.
Lisa will always be remembered for her generosity, deep love for her family, awesome sense of humor, over-the-top personality and can-do attitude.
A celebration of life for Lisa was held March 24th in Orange Park, FL.
