Local students receive Forcht Bank Community Impact Scholarships

Forcht Bank has awarded three graduating high school seniors with the Community Impact Scholarship, which is in its’ inaugural year.

MaCayla Falls, Kinsey Clay and McKenna Sun will each receive a $5,000 scholarship to help further their education and aspirations. As the name describes, the focus of the scholarship is on the impact each student has made on their local community.

In the first year of the scholarship program, over 100 high school seniors applied with seven students reaching the final stage for in-person panel interviews. The other four finalists will each be receiving a $500 scholarship.

2022 Forcht Bank Community Impact Scholarship winners include:

  • Kinsey Clay – Grant County High School
  • MaCayla Falls – Campbellsville High School
  • McKenna Sun – Paul Laurence Dunbar High School

Student applicants were evaluated based on a variety of areas including: GPA, two essays, honors and awards, employment and extracurriculars, and community involvement and volunteering. Eligible students included any graduating high school seniors that reside in a market/county that Forcht Bank serves and has a physical presence.
