Mildred “Cootie” Rigney Silcox

Mildred “Cootie” Rigney Silcox, age 75, of Jellico passed away Friday, October 31, 2025, at home. She was born December 2, 1949.
Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Gary Wayne Silcox; sons, Jerry Wayne Silcox, Johnny Wayne Silcox; father, Woodrow Rigney; mother, Leta (Bell) Rigney; brothers, Tony Rigney, James “J.C.” Rigney; sisters, Fannie Albertini, Helen Thomas, Iva Marie Perkins, and Charlotte “Peachie” Dople.
She is survived by daughter, Michelle “Shelle” Silcox; son, Gary Lee Silcox and Mindy; grandchildren, Shelbey Silcox, Savanna Silcox, Sierra Silcox; brothers, Woodrow Rigney, Jr., Bill Rigney; sister, Betty Jeffers; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn her passing.
Memorial service was Monday, November 3, at Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Junior Dople officiating.
