Myrtle M. Alsip Fox, 91, of  Woodbine, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Baptist Health Corbin.

Myrtle had been a homemaker and enjoyed quilting and gardening. She had a generous heart and was mother to all of her neighborhood.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather who raised her Frank Napier, parents William and Mandy Napier Crank, husbands Hoyt Alsip and Frankie Fox, sons Dillard Alsip and Larry Fox, daughter Maxine Alsip, granddaughter Laquada Sharp, and son-in-law Ray Sharp.

She is survived by her daughters, Mandy Sharp, Christie Lambert and husband Clay, Caroline Johnson and husband Roy, and Nadine Perkins and husband Roy; daughter-in-law Brenda Fox; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; 23 great-great-grandchildren; and two great-great-great-grandchildren; and by her 26-year caregiver Faye Nichols.

The funeral service was held Saturday, April 29, at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home with Vincent Johnson officiating.

Burial was in the McFarland Cemetery in West Corbin.
