Onnie O. Meadors, age 90 of Williamsburg, Ky., passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025, at his home.
He was born May 7, 1934 in Whitley County, Ky. to the late Soloman and Frankie Vanover Meadors,
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by eight siblings, Paris Berman Meadors, Florence Virginia Meadors, Mary Magadelene Meadors, Lilian Heinz, Flossie Birnbaum, George Meadors, Russell Meadors, and Charles Meadors.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Meadors of Williamsburg, Ky.; six children, Kennie Davis (Debbie) of Austin Ky., Ginger Robbins of Williamsburg Ky., Dessie Kelly (Mike) of Williamsburg Ky., Pam Huff (Bo Poff) of Corbin Ky., Onnie “Bill” Meadors (Sonya) of Williamsburg, Ky and Joseph Saylor (Missy) of Williamsburg Ky.; 15 grandchildren, Sherry Addis, Christie Willis, Kennie Davis Jr., Joshua Davis, Meagan Kersey, Matthew Robbins (Chelsea), Aaron Kelly (Stephanie), Leanne Gregory (Josh), Roger Huff (Sierra), Jessica Thomas (Gus), Heather Shirley (Caleb), Sara Bell (Rusty), Katlyn Saylor, Bryce Saylor, Josh Saylor and numerous great grandchildren; four sisters, Ann Sye of Pennsylvania, Bonnie West (Clinton) of Ohio, Ruth Shelton of Tennessee, Roxie Cotton of Ohio; one brother, Eugene Meadors (Sue) of Williamsburg Ky.; several nieces, nephews; and a host of relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Thursday January 23, at Ellison Funeral Home with Bro. Vernon Jones officiating.
Interment was in Piney Grove Cemetery.
