Paschal “Pat” Jarvis Chaney departed this life on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 being 91 years, 10 months and 16 days of age.

He was born on March 21, 1926 in Pulaski County, the son of the late Harvey Wyatt Chaney and Roxie Ellen Whitaker Chaney.

He was united in marriage to Doris House who preceded him in death.

Besides his parents and wife he was also preceded in death by fourteen siblings and a son-in-law, Arthur Lichliter, Jr.

He was a retired carpenter, a Kentucky Colonel and a member of the Fariston United Baptist Church.

He is survived by two daughters, Sheila Lichliter and Regina Harris and husband James of Corbin, three grandchildren, Regina Sawyers (Lonnie Wayne) and Jordan Harris of Corbin, and Justin Harris (Brittany) of Berea, one great grandchild, Blake Sawyers, plus a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral was held Saturday, February 10 at the Bowling Funeral Home with Bennie Bush officiating. Burial followed in the  Cumberland Memorial Gardens at Lily.

Bowling Funeral Home in London was in charge of arrangements.
