Police seek suspect in Dollar General Store burglary

Surveillance camera footage shows the suspect in the burglarly of Dollar General Store in Keavy Tuesday morning.

Laurel County Sheriff’s deputies are seeking the public’s help to identify the individual who used a rock to break into the Dollar General Store in Keavy Tuesday morning.

According to Sheriff John Root, at approximately 5:10 a.m., the individual threw a rock through the glass door at the front entrance of the store at the intersection of Ky. 312 and Ky. 770.

Once inside, the suspect attempted to bust out the glass from the cigarette case, but was unsuccessful. After that the suspect fled the scene.

The suspect is caught on surveillance. He appears to be wearing a dark hoodie sweatshirt, jeans and boots.
