The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing Corbin man.

Guy Siler

Guy Siler, 54, was last seen on Wednesday, May 24, about 2:30 p.m.

Siler is a white 6’3” male weighing about 150 pounds. He has medium length light brown hair, and a dark complected skin tone, according to a sheriff’s department release.

On Saturday, Knox County deputies received a request for a welfare check at a residence on KY 830 in Corbin.

After deputies arrived at Siler’s home, they interviewed a neighbor, who stated he had last seen Siler on May 24 wearing only blue boxer shorts.

Deputies observed that the doors of the residence were open and that Siler’s vehicles were present. They also learned that Siler has several serious health issues that require regular medical treatment and medication, according to the release.

Knox County Sheriff Mike Smith, several deputies, the Knox County SOR Team and Knox County EMS continue to search the large wooded area surrounding the residence.

The Knox County Sheriff’s Department is continuing the investigation.

Anyone that has seen or has any information about Siler’s whereabouts is asked to call the Knox County Sheriff’s Office at (606) 546-3181, Knox County 911 or nearest law enforcement agency, the release stated.
