Road work to result in lane closures on I-75 south of Williamsburg Monday

Intermittent lane closures will occur on Interstate 75 near Williamsburg beginning Monday morning and continuing throughout the day.

Kentucky Transportation Cabinet officials said the lane closures will occur between the area near Exit 11 and the state line between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. on both sides of the interstate.

The lane closures are needed as work continues on the asphalt rehabilitation project.

Motorists are asked to be aware of the work zones, expect delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.

In the event of inclement weather or other unforeseen issues, the work may be delay.
