Ronnie Lee Powers, 65, of Ghent, and formerly of Williamsburg, departed this life on Monday, October 3, 2016 at the Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville.

He was born on June 24, 1951 in Williamsburg, to the late Enos Powers and Lavada (Curnutt) Powers.

He was preceded in death by his wife, June Powers; a son, Ricky Lee Powers; brother, James Powers and a granddaughter, Tosha Renee Powers.

He is survived by his four children, Michelle Mays (Pierce Hamblin) of Williamsburg; Katherine Hall of Ghent; Doris Stewart (Jim) of Vevay, IN:  and Greg Palmer of Pennsylvania; 11 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; brother, Charles Phillip Powers (Annie) of Markle, IN; sister, Margie Pack of Blue Creek, OH; several nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, October 8, at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rick Croley officiating.

He was laid to rest along with his wife, June, who passed away on February 19, 2016 in Ghent, in Hamblin Cemetery at Mulberry.
