Roy Matthew Malicoat

Roy Matthew Malicoat, age 81 of Duff, Tennessee passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at the North Metro Knoxville Medical Center.
He was born December 11, 1940 in Morley, Tennessee.
Roy is preceded in death by his parents, James and Vivian Gothard Malicoat; brothers, J.C. Malicoat, and Virgle “Jug Head” Malicoat; sisters, Betty Austin and Aline Taylor; and great-great-grand-daughter, Christina Crawford.
He is survived by, wife, Marilyn Martin Malicoat; sons, Henry Tudor, and David Tudor; daughters, Roberta Host, Sandra Reed, Marcie Shaffie, and Shelbi Gates; 23 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren; brother, Carl Enlo “Mac” Malicoat; sister, Estelene Tyree; and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and family to mourn his passing.
Funeral service was Thursday, March 31, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Earl Powers and Rev. James “Jimbo” Bolton officiating.
Burial followed in the Oddfellow Cemetery in White Oak.
