Scotty Merle Moses

Scotty Merle Moses, age 83, of the Pleasant View, KY community went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at his residence.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Moses and Viola (Goins) Moses; wife, Peggy (Rue) Moses; son, Richard Brian Moses; and sister, Marilyn Moses.
Scotty is survived by his children, Gregory Moses and wife Sandra of Florence, SC, Lucinda Adkins and husband Eddie of Pleasant View, KY, Malorie Cooper and husband Jeff of Rockholds, KY; grandchildren, David Moses, Aaron Moses, Scott Moses and wife Kimberly, Emma (Cooper) Watson and husband Caleb, Isaac Cooper, Kyle Grice, Kenzie Grice, Sheylin Moses, Tyler Moses and Lucas Canup; brother, Buddy Moses; and a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
Scotty retired from CSX Railroad after 31 years of service. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy and a member of the Mountain Ash Baptist Church.
Funeral service with military honors was provided by the Jellico Honor Guard on Saturday, February 26, at the Llewellyn Funeral Home Chapel in Jellico, TN with Rev. Billy Carpenter officiating.
Interment followed in the Bowlin Cemetery Jellico, TN.
