Steam engine restoration on hold until spring

Restoration and repairs to the L&N 2132 steam locomotive along with the coal tender and caboose are on hold until spring.

Corbin Tourism Director Maggy Kriebel told the tourism commission Tuesday during its regular monthly meeting that restoration professionals have told her the window of opportunity to have the work completed before the cold weather halts it has closed.
