Teen killed in shooting at Lily home; another juvenile charged with murder

On Saturday, April 24, 2010, at 2:06 PM the Kentucky State Police, Post 11, in London received a report, from the Laurel County 911 Center, of a shooting incident at a residence on Byble Road in Laurel County.
 
Upon arrival KSP Detective Mark Allen determined that two male juveniles were inside the residence when an argument began. The argument escalated and led to the shooting death on one of the juveniles. That juvenile was pronounced dead, at the scene, by the Laurel County Coroner Doug Bowling.
 
Detective Allen arrested the other juvenile on the charges of Murder and Tampering with Physical Evidence. 
 
Detective Allen is continuing the investigation and was assisted at the scene by officers from the Kentucky State Police, the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office, the Laurel County Coroner’s Office and the Laurel County EMS.
