Thelma (Jones) Gibson, age 69, of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Thursday, March 27, 2025, at her home. She was born March 21, 1956, in Sidney, Ohio.
Thelma is preceded in death by her grandchild, Ella Marie Lewallen; father, Alvin James Jones; and mother, Liza Evelyn Jones.
She is survived by her husband, Danny “Don” Ray Gibson; daughters, April Moses and Pat, Amey Scalf and Neil, Audrey Holycross, Wendy Anderson andFrank, and Kasey Gibson; son, Austin Gibson and Mikaela Lambdin; grandchildren, Laine Moses, Alizah Holycross, Abbey Holycross, Love (Kortney) Leuenberger, Austin Gibson, Kassidy Cooper and David Bell, Evan Copper, Tanner Cooper, Reace Anderson, Mitchell Anderson, Brenda (Buttons) Anderson, Joey Lewallen, Hailey Lewallen and Johnny Phillips, Pamela Lewallen and Kalob Lowe, Raylee Lewallen, Bethany Wallace, Julian Woodell; great-grandchildren, Emilee, Gracelynn, Hudson, Ava, Iris, Luke, Easton, Emerson, Paisley, Marilyn, Madilie; bonus grandchildren, Faith Jackson, Haley Adkins; brothers, Ron Jones and Brenda, Gary Jones and Laurie, Clyde Jones and Maryann; and a host of family and friends to mourn her passing.
The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm on Wednesday, April 2, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will begin at 2 pm with Rev. Mark Sutton officiating.
Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery in Jellico.
